Woohoo, I am going to shop for designer bridesmaid dresses with a few buddies this afternoon! ^.^
One is going to get married in August while another one’s wedding is in November.
As both of them are my good friends, I must attend both weddings. Ouch, my pocket will be hurting seriously!
Let me keep my fingers crossed that there will be no more wedding invitations for the rest of the year.
Although hubby and I decided not to attend his niece’ wedding on the December 26th to save money on wedding money gift, hotel accommodation fees and traveling expenses that may cost more than $500, our money still flew out of the pocket!
Why? Well, we were asked to pick up my brother-in-law from the hospital on Christmas Eve! Due to doctor’s order, my brother-in-law had to stay one more night and was only discharged on Christmas.
So, the initial $500 that hubby and I thought could be saved up was spent on 2 nights’ stay at the inn nearby the hospital, meal and traveling expenses.
It’s fortunate that our old car didn’t act up during the long journey, otherwise, there would be more money spent on roadside assistance!
My only wish before year 2009 comes to an end is that there is no more money flowing out this week.
It’s great to have heard that my sister is finally able to get away from her heavy workload. Her company has recently used an advanced financial reporting software that speeds up financial reporting process.
Having less workload means that my sister can have a few days’ break and pay me a visit. The last time I saw her was last month, during my youngest sister’s wedding. I was in a hurry to go back after the wedding dinner, so my sister and I were not able to have a long chat.
