When Starting A New Blog, No Generic Domain Name!

You know what’s the problem of using a generic domain name like this blog, The Xin Group? Either PSAs show up or no ads appear at all!

Of course, I am wiser now if compared to 3 years go. ;-)

Now each time I want to start a new blog, I make sure the domain name is laden with the keywords I want.

I have dozens of niche blogs, but none of them is specifically for life insurance.

Maybe it’s time I consider setting up an insurance blog. Of course, the keyword of ‘insurance’ must be in the domain name.

I go do some homework first before I tell you the domain name of my choice.

No Insurance CoveragePoor blogging pals! A few of my blogging pals whose husbands have been laid off recently have to resort to giving up their health insurance, life insurance, family insurance and other insurance related coverage.

They know the danger of not paying the insurance premiums, but what else can they do now? Their savings accounts are drying up, the credit card payments and other instalment payments are piling up, the food and groceries are running out, …

I am helping them find the most affordable online life insurance now because I feel that it’s dangerous not to have insurance coverage.

You never know what will happen the next moment.

When it comes to insurance, I turn to my sister and her hubby for help. They are both insurance agents.

Any friend or relative who wants to promote me insurance, be it North Carolina health insurance, life insurance or term insurance, I will tell them frankly that my sister and her hubby are my insurance agents.

If there are any cheap insurance deals that my friends or relatives would like to recommend to me, I will tell them to call my sister. Well, they dare not do so.

My insurance agent came this morning, trying to persuade me and my hubby to get the latest life insurance quotes. He heard that hubby was involved in business, so there was business possibility for him too. What he didn’t know is that hubby quit his job last month.

If given a choice, I think hubby and I would prefer term life insurance which is a shorter term cover that provides protection for a limited period, such as 10, 15 or 20 years. This is a popular form of life insurance, and is the cheaper option for us who are on a budget.

Compare Cheap Car Insurance, Life Insurance & Home Insurance

This morning, my sister called up and we chatted for a while. I grumbled to her that we didn’t get any cheap car insurance this year even though hubby’s driving record is clean and no traffic summons at all.

We were told by our insurance agent that we got the cheapest insurance available on the market, but it was not true !

We found out later that there were other cheap insurance websites that offered even lower insurance quotes. We should have compared various car insurance companies before making the best decision.

We have already bookmarked ThriftyScot.co.uk so that we can compare home insurance and life insurance quotes to get the best quotes.

How Many Insurance Policies Do You Have ?

Vedis, you have covered extensively about credit card debts, loans, get paid blogging and money making revenues. What about insurance ?

How many insurance policies do you have ? I have only a whole life insurance now.

Mmm.. I started off with a term life insurance policy the moment I stepped into working force. I think it was about 13 years ago. I didn’t even understand what term life insurance was ! How ignorant!

Of course, at the age of 36 now, I know what it is. I pay a premium for a period of time (the term) from one to thirty years and if I die during that time the insurance is paid to the beneficiary. In my case, my beloved mom.

I was about 23 years old at that time and the term life insurance had the lowest premium in the early years, thus making it the most affordable life insurance for me.

Two years later, I bought a whole life insurance policy from my brother-in-law after weighing the pros and cons between term life insurance and whole life insurance. It provides life-long protection.

With whole life, I pay a fixed premium for life, instead of the increasing premiums found on renewable term life insurance policies.

Besides that, the whole life insurance also has a cash component, that is cash value . It can grow and interest is credited to the cash value.
