Just came back from work and will be out shopping for a fetal doppler for a female colleague at the nearby pharmacy.
As far as I know, a fetal doppler monitor is perfectly safe for her to use in her home, and will not cause any harm to either her or her baby.

While helping hubby print out some documents at school just now, a female colleague next to me looked pretty upset. I chatted with her and found out the reason why she was so upset.
Apparently, her laptop warranty coverage had already expired for a while when a firewire port went faulty this morning. She was there worried about paying for a new firewire port that would cost more than one hundred.
After I assured her that it cost less than $50 only, she felt relieved. Mmm, it’s my guess that she may be tight in budget this month!
