Friends & Family Members Should Be More Understanding

It’s kind of pitiful that my neighbor opposite me has to live alone without any friends and family members around him.

He used to have many friends, but they had distanced from him because of his drug addict son.

Although his son had been sent to a drug rehab since last year, friends and family members still want to keep a distance from him. Why? Why are they so cruel to this old man?

It’s my hope that his friends and family can be more understanding.

Drug Addicts Should Be Treated & Cleared From Addiction

Filed under: Health — Tags: , , — Home Cleaning Work At Home Mom @ 11:50 am

Since my neighbor’s release from the drug rehab center, I have to be careful when I am alone at home.

Hubby wants me to lock the door all the time when he is out. He doesn’t want the neighbor opposite my house to have any chance to ask for money from me.

I really don’t understand why he was released from the rehab center. He was not given any treatment to get rid of his addiction at all. Shouldn’t he be treated and cleared from drugs so that he can start a clean new life?

Help Your Loved One Get Help If He Or She Has Drug Addiction

My hubby and I were back from our holidays. We reached Ipoh yesterday evening. Upon stepping into the house, my sister-in-law warned me to be careful as the drug addict opposite our house had been released from the drug rehab. Gosh ! I really hope that he turn over a new leaf this time.

Whenever I see my neighbor, I tend to think of my brother-in-law who was once a drug addict. He had also been in and out of drug rehab centers many times. If I am not mistaken, he started getting involved in drug addiction in the 90s.

Though my brother-in-law had successfully kicked off his drug addiction and turned over a new leaf, taking drugs took its toll on his health. He died of internal organ failures which was caused by the harmful effects of drug.

My hubby told me that my brother-in-law attribute his success to choosing a right drug treatment. He emphasized on the importance of choosing drug rehab centers that care for drug addicts and treat them with dignity as they heal physically, mentally and spiritually.

My hubby and I take the issue of drug abuse very seriously. Whenever we come to know that friends or neighbours are involved in drug addiction, we will recommend to them any drug rehab centers that can help them start a new life. We always believe that there is life after drug recovery.
