Since moving back to hubby’s home town, my durable cookware and kitchen ware have been left accumulating dust in the kitchen.

The convenience of buying meals at food stalls which are only a few houses away is the main reason that I no longer need to cook meals. Besides convenience, eating out at food stalls saves time, hassle and money. Food in this small village is very very cheap.

No cooking means no oily face. I don’t have to worry about how to get rid of acne anymore.

Arghhh.. I was enjoying online shopping just now when a buddy called up and asked me to book a few concert tickets of Van Halen Tour for her. If possible, I should let her know by 12 am !

Fortunately, hubby could help. He was online too just now…;P I am glad to have taught my hubby to stay connected to the Internet world. Otherwise, he would have been living under a rock like my buddy.

I didn’t manage to finish the stories just now because I thought my students would come. Apparently, they wanted to prepare for their exams that start tomorrow. Fine with me …;D

Hubby has gone to Ipoh and I am going to join him tomorrow. And then, we will have our body massage treatments (again !) in Ipoh. Having massage treatments is a good way to release toxins and refresh ourselves after working so hard. If I can afford, I will have body massage and foot reflexology every day…;D

I think I am going to spend my Sunday reading female and home improvement magazines on my bed. It’s so relaxing to be able rest and do whatever I like on Sunday. Time to catch up with stories of celebs who have successfully undergone another cosmetic surgery in Santa Monica or other plastic surgeries.

11-Day Hari Raya Aidilfitri Break October 9, 2007

My students just informed me that they will have 11-day Hari Raya celebrations starting Thursday.

Can you believe it ? Secondary school students in my district enjoy 11-day break. After their break, they will study for less than 25 days and then year end school holidays. About 2 months !

With the advent of Internet, I pick up a lot of valuable information online daily. If it had been a year ago, I would have been surprised if you told me that there were truck lawyers, personal injury lawyers or even helicopter accident lawyers . I was shocked to have read about baby Lai Yok San a few days ago. She was born prematurely on July 23 and had to be kept in an incubator. Due to her limb’s infection at the hospital, part of her left arm would have to be amputated.

I couldn’t hold myself back when I saw her tiny hand which had turned blue. According to the doctor, Yok Shan’s infected fingers which were dry and brittle faced the risk of falling off on their own. The baby is now getting the best medical care from specialists and the little girl seems to be responding positively.

I wonder if the parents have resorted to taking legal action .There are many “people’s lawyers” available in Malaysia who can fight for personal injury cases. The baby’s physical injury is due to hospital’s fault, therefore the parents must enlist the help of “people’s lawyers” such as Raleigh personal injury lawyer.
