To clear blocked drain pipes, pour a cup of baking soda powder down the drain followed by a cup of vinegar.
When the forming and bubbling stop, pour boiling water down the drain to flush out the build-up. I’ ll have a smooth-flowing drain again…;D
Mold Problems To Be Addressed Before Putting Our House For Sale September 13, 2007
Posted by Home Cleaning Work At Home Mom in : Plumbing , add a commentAs our home has been left vacant for more than 2 years, we would like to sell it off and use the money to pay off some of our credit card debts. Our real estate had given us some tips on selling our house faster about a month ago. We did follow her advice and spend some time getting the gate painted, bedroom windows and bathrooms cleaned spotlessly so that we can ask for higher selling price.
However, we are still scratching our heads so to how to deal with the mold problems which have been caused by leaking pipes and damp basements. We know that mold can cause fatigue, nausea, headaches, respiratory and eye irritation ad other health problems, therefore we would like to have the mold removal done before putting up our house for sale on the market.
We have been referred by our real estate broker to enlist the help of American Waterproofing that provides mold remediation and removal services for Nassau and Suffolk counties and all five boroughs of New York City, including the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.
