I had no time doing home cleaning last week. Luckily, I had enough time to do it this morning. It took me more than 2 hours to clean the living room and the master bedroom.
I wish I had a maid to do the cleaning for me. If so, I don’t mind buying a Texas Gulf coast waterfront property. If I were to do the home cleaning myself, the smaller the house, the better it is when it comes to cleaning.
It’s the third week hubby and I have been in the city. I miss my own home very much and really hope that I can go back home tomorrow and don’t have to travel to the city again for some time.
Though I go back on the weekend and do house cleaning as much as I can, I still find my home dusty. I still haven’t had the time to clean the auto air conditioning unit in my bedroom and furniture in my guest room.
I remember my buddy once told me that she loved doing home cleaning during her early marriage.
At that time, she was living with her hubby’s family. Once in a while when she was mopping the floor or cleaning the cabinets, she was lucky to find a gold chain or a gold ring that her mother-in-law dropped years ago.
Whenever she gave the lost chain or ring back to her mother-in-law, her mother-in-law would ask her to keep it. I was so jealous that she had had such a generous mother-in-law.
Each time after doing thorough home cleaning, the indoor air becomes very fresh.
Whenever I do meditation on the teak furniture, I know if it is time to do a thorough home cleaning or not. If it is, I will stop doing my meditation at once and do the cleaning first. I simply can’t wait until I finish the meditation.
Though I am not the most hardworking work at home mom when it comes to doing household chores, I definitely won’t compromise on inhaling unclean indoor air.
I used to do household chores on weekends when I was in Cameron Highlands. I didn’t blog much on weekends at that time. But it’s different now. I blog and manage my multiple niche blogs almost every day! I am a work at home mom who runs more than a dozen of niche blogs.
When it comes to doing home cleaning, hubby helps me with mopping, washing the dishes and cleaning the bathroom. He still does the same household chores that I first delegated to him in August 2007. What a helpful hubby!
And he is also the one who loves doing marketing in the mornings and also choosing gift basket as gift for family or friends.
I bet many work at home moms hope that your hubby will help you do the same stuff, right?
Guess what a work at home mom hates most? Bingo! Gaining weight! I hate to see myself putting on more and more weight. If I don’t lose weight, sooner or later I will be more than 100 pounds overweight and may need to undergo lapband surgery.
I used to be overweight 2 years ago, therefore I don’t want to see myself fat again. Hubby asked me to consider controlling diets, taking diet pills, doing exercise programs or workouts on treadmills first before I make up my mind to go for any lap band surgery.
Of course, I won’t consider any lap band surgery at all. I am sure doing workouts and controlling diets are good enough to help me lose weight. Perhaps I should increase the amount of home cleaning chores or do household chores more diligently.

Do you know how frustrating it is for them to clean carpets? I’m ashamed to admit that my carpets hadn’t been cleaned in 2 years as lots of dirt gets tracked in from outside. Thinking of cleaning the carpets once a week just made me tired.

As time has passed, the steam cleaner has done an excellent job of maintaining my carpets.
