May The Water Leak Stop Soon July 8, 2010

While updating my niche blog with the latest discount diet pills, hubby told me the progress of the water leak problem.

Sigh, this wouldn’t have happened if we had had enough money to pay the plumbers to fix all three toilets/bathrooms at one time instead of two in June!

Due to insufficient cash in hand, we only had two leaking toilets/bathrooms fixed. We thought of having the third bathroom fixed two or three months later.

It’s not even one month yet and here the water leak is seeping through the walls and dampening the neighbor’s wall.

Hubby has already told the tenant to stop using the third bathroom to see whether there is any further leak. If there isn’t, then fine. But if there is still leaking, it’s inevitable that we have to fork out money to get the bathroom fixed.

Let The Current Tenants Use The Extra Furniture Pieces & Home Decor Items June 23, 2010

Finally, the plumbers had the leaking toilets fixed last Saturday! Phew, what a relief! No more leaking pipes and toilets for the vacant house.

The tenants have already moved all their belongings into the house although it’s only the 23rd today. It’s okay since they are considered friends of us now. :-)

Hubby and I have decided to let the current tenants use the extra furniture pieces, home decor items, work gloves, dishes and kitchen appliances that belong to us because there is simply no space in our flat to store them.

I am always fine with sharing things with others; it’s better to let others use them than letting the things rot away.

Just reached home after more than half an hour’s bus journey. Why did I come home alone by bus?

Well, there’s a change for our plan. After we met the plumbers, we went to shop for some used cars. It didn’t take us long to find out the market prices for our Toyota Camry and other cars.

Then, I started feeling tired because of my menstruation. Instead of letting hubby waste his time on driving me home, I decided to take a bus.

He went ahead with his plan of shopping for new clothes and checking out Branson vacation packages at the shopping mall while I came home to rest and do my online work.

Now that I am back, I am ready to start my online work without delay.

Oh, The Internet Line Is So Fast Now! June 18, 2010

It’s 6.30 am now, the time when my internet line is fast. Unfortunately, I can’t do my online work at this hour. Hubby and I have to go meet the plumbers who have scheduled to do our leaking toilets today.

They need a full day to have the 2 leaking toilets fixed, so hubby and I have to occupy ourselves with lots of activities instead of waiting in the house for the repair to be done.

Hubby plans to hang out at his favorite shopping mall checking out the latest HDTV models and shopping for new clothes. Wow, he can surely spend the whole day there! :-)

As for me, I am still thinking whether I want to accompany him to the shopping mall or just hang out at my old friend’s house. Maybe I get to use her computer to do my online work!

Since it’s going to rain, I had better put off washing the laundry and lingerie until tomorrow morning.

This morning I was not here at this rented flat. Aiyo, why didn’t I think of having the laundry washed before I left the flat last night? It also didn’t come across hubby’s mind too.

It’s okay, just leave the laundry to tomorrow morning. Wuahaha, if my mother-in-law was still alive and lived with me, she would have thought I was a lazy daughter-in-law!

I have to say ‘I didn’t sleep well‘ again. Well, it’s true!

Of course, this time was not caused by the tea/coffee. It’s because of the old house and my bedroom there. I am not so used to sleeping on the bed there anymore.

Each time I go back to the old house, I always wish I had a Sony VAIO notebook with me so that I could keep doing my online work or watch my favorite online TV shows.

Having no computer and internet connection at the old house means no entertainment at all. Boring!
