Replace Old Air Filters Before Christmas & New Year December 9, 2009

I have been urging hubby to get someone to change the air filters these few days, but to no avail. Why doesn’t he see that it’s important to have the filters changed as early as possible?

You know it’s difficult to get a plumber or foreman when Christmas is approaching. Everyone is busy preparing for the Christmas and New Year, so is the plumber or foreman. Right?

I hate to see old and broken things in my house, so I love to replace them with new ones during the end of the year.

What A Coincidence! Not Much Malignant Mesothelioma Treatment Info Is Needed October 22, 2009

I am supposed to begin teaching my students in the guest room starting this Thursday. Unfortunately, there is a change of plan now.

My brother in law is still here, so there is no way I can move the classroom chairs into his room and give tuition in there.

It’s possible to hold the tuition classes in my bedroom, but I don’t want to. I don’t like the kids to dirty my room.

So, the only place is the living room. Luckily, there aren’t as many mosquitoes as last week after clearing out some mosquito breeding grounds with hubby’s help.

It’s also a coincidence that I didn’t have to search as much malignant Mesothelioma treatment info last week as I used to.

With extra help from hubby and spare time I had, we were able to get rid of as many breeding grounds as possible.

Use Dark Circle Cream & Relax Your Eyes To Get Rid Of Wrinkles October 13, 2009

I think I have to dig out my dark circle cream again that I bought over the counter in the local drug store a few months ago.

My facial area is now lined with wrinkles due to constant eye strain. Working on computer and watching television, usually in one position, for hours during the day, are the major reason why my eyes get strained.

Besides using the eye cream, I think I really should have frequent breaks for coffee or whatever to relax my eyes.

When hubby and I were loaded with credit card debt in 2007, I had to save money by cooking meals at home.

But after our credit card debt decreased a bit, I stopped cooking at home and started eating out again.

These few weeks, hubby has been suggesting that he wants to eat home cooked meals again. Argh, …

Eating home-cooked meals means that I have to cook again and my face will be filled with greasy smell.

The Value Of A Good Eight Hours’ Sleep & Regular Exercise August 15, 2009

Latino Step ClassWhile busy updating my niche blogs with the best weight loss supplements just now, a neighbor dropped by and chatted with me for a while.

She looked very healthy and glowing. She shared with me that it’s because of her getting a good eight hours’ sleep and doing regular exercise daily.

After having her second child, her routine tasks doubled and she started getting body aches.

Then, two months ago, she began Latino Step classes and abdominal exercise twice weekly.

Her aches gradually decreased, her sleep improved and she lost her post-natal weight!

So her advice to me is not to underestimate the value of sleep and exercise.

Relax FeetHere are some home remedies to help your feet relax after a long night out and give them a massage or a long “bath” to relieve tense foot muscles.

1. Combat ingrown nail problems by soaking your feet in a liter of warm water with a tablespoon of Epsom Salts from a pharmacy for 15 minutes daily.

2. For corns, calluses and cracked heels, exfoliate feet once a week with a foot file for corns or massage with foot smoother.

3. Moisture and re-hydrate feet with foot creams. Put on moisturizing socks to ensure creams penetrate deeply and keep treatment on overnight. Don’t use body lotions as feet need a more intensive and richer moisturizer.

4. When cushioning footwear at home rather than walking barefoot on hard flooring.

5. Alternate your footwear and allow enough time for airing before wearing again.
