Drag All The Mattresses Out From The Room October 28, 2009

While accompanying hubby to wait for his colleague’s car, he told me his brother would go back to the city on Thursday.

Come on, didn’t that fellow also told us that he would go back to work on Tuesday? It’s Wednesday today and I will see if he really gets back to the city tomorrow.

Once he is gone, it’s for sure that I will throw all the pillow cases and bedsheets found in his room into the washing machine for a delicate cleaning.

Next, I will drag all the mattresses out from his room to be dusted under the hot sun.

As there are two beds in his room and I am not sure if he has slept on the other bed, it’s best for me wash the pillow cases and bedsheets, and clean the mattresses for both beds.

Think Of Sleep Number Bed On Valentine’s Day February 20, 2009

Hubby and I were too tired to go to a discount furniture exhibition on February 14.

Well, it’s not because of Valentine on that day. The truth is that we were both too worn out after cleaning the kitchen and the garage.

The only thing I could think of was my sleep number bed, not romantic meal or Valentine gift.

The number of mosquitoes has dropped tremendously after the cleanup.

Discount Bedroom FurnitureHubby and I are supposed to go to a discount bedroom furniture exhibition this afternoon.

Well, I don’t think we will be going to the exhibition.

I am too worn out now after a few hours’ cleaning for the kitchen and living room. I need a long sleep more than a shopping spree.

If I don’t go, I know hubby will be lazy driving to the town alone.

What You Should Know About King Size Platform Beds March 3, 2008

How in the world is anyone supposed to know the difference between all the platform beds on the market today? Even the sales person in your local department store bed department might not really have all the facts. It can be very confusing!

Take King size bed as an example. With two sizes of King beds and four names, it can get confusing when you go shopping for a King size bed.

A Standard King is also called an Eastern King and a California King is also called a Western King. A Standard King is about 4″ wider and a California King is 4″ longer.

Two people sleeping in a King size bed will get the same amount of personal sleeping space as in a Twin bed. In fact, if you pushed two Extra-Long Twin beds together they’d be about the same size as an Eastern King. For great versatility in a guest room, if you have the floor space, use 2 extra long twin beds separately for singles or push them together to make a king bed for couples.

When buying sheets, you have to be careful to purchase the right size. Flat sheets will fit both sizes of King beds, but fitted sheets are cut to fit one or the other.

Before you go shopping for sheets, be sure to measure your bed exactly to be sure to buy the linens that will fit exactly.
