Tight In Budget

While helping hubby print out some documents at school just now, a female colleague next to me looked pretty upset. I chatted with her and found out the reason why she was so upset.

Apparently, her laptop warranty coverage had already expired for a while when a firewire port went faulty this morning. She was there worried about paying for a new firewire port that would cost more than one hundred.

After I assured her that it cost less than $50 only, she felt relieved. Mmm, it’s my guess that she may be tight in budget this month!

Time For Hubby To Get Business Cards

Last week, hubby was urged to order some business cards as he may have to relieve the vice principal’s burden by attending events and functions on his behalf in future.

I suggest considering online printing because the price of online printing is more affordable compared to the price offered by the nearby local print shop he has frequented before.

If he has no intention to get glossy business cards at all, well then, I can actually design and print for him at home. Wuahaha!

Stop Honking Outside My House!

While searching for prenatal vitamins for my buddy just now, I felt like storming out of my house and scolded a driver who kept honking his car.

As there are a few schools in my living area, it’s inevitable that there are always jams before and after school hours. The funny thing is that the parents know how jam it is, but they still want to drive their cars to as close as the schools.

Come on, their kids are teenagers who can walk for a long distance! Just let the teenagers walk to the cars rather than driving close to them.

Spain Or Holland Will Win 2010 FIFA World Cup Title?

So, which team will win the 2010 FIFA World Cup title? Spain or Netherlands? I am fine with either one because my favorite German team has been defeated by Spain.

It seems that the Netherlands have the edge over the Spain in terms of results so far. Well, anything can happen, right?

Remember, the date for the Netherlands vs Spain World Cup final is set for July 11th and start time will be at 2:30 PM ET!

May The Water Leak Stop Soon

While updating my niche blog with the latest discount diet pills, hubby told me the progress of the water leak problem.

Sigh, this wouldn’t have happened if we had had enough money to pay the plumbers to fix all three toilets/bathrooms at one time instead of two in June!

Due to insufficient cash in hand, we only had two leaking toilets/bathrooms fixed. We thought of having the third bathroom fixed two or three months later.

It’s not even one month yet and here the water leak is seeping through the walls and dampening the neighbor’s wall.

Hubby has already told the tenant to stop using the third bathroom to see whether there is any further leak. If there isn’t, then fine. But if there is still leaking, it’s inevitable that we have to fork out money to get the bathroom fixed.

No Treatment This Friday

Last night, I planned to have my adult acne plus body massage treatment this Friday. Unfortunately, there’s a last minute change. I will have the massage treatment next week instead.

It’s actually a very good timing to have my massage treatment this Friday because hubby will be away the whole day attending a seminar. Well, what to do? My online work comes first!

It’s possible for me to fork out two hours for the treatment tomorrow, but, I know I won’t be relaxed 100 percent while being massaged. It’s for sure that I will keep thinking about my work and hoping the massage will end soon.

So, Germany Lost To Spain 0-1

Urgh, what a disappointment, Germany lost to Spain 0-1 this morning! Spain can advance to their first FIFA World Cup Final and face off with the Netherlands while Germany has to fight with Uruguay for the third place.

Hubby’s buddy was upset with Germany’s loss that he stormed out of our house and went to a nearby smoke shop for some cigars. It’s his way to vent out his anger/sadness/disappointment.

Come on, it’s just a football match. It’s funny that some people can take games/matches/competitions so seriously until they affect their mood. This is bad to health, you know.
