Still Remember The Muscular Construction Worker’s Tuxedos & The Plain-Looking office Lady’s Expensive Designer Suits February 27, 2009

TuxedosI never like ironing.

My aunt used to own a laundry and ironing business more than 10 years ago. The laundry business was so good that I was asked to help around in the shop to earn some pocket money.

I must say that I hated the chore of ironing clothes the most.

The most enjoyable part was dealing with customers from all walks of life.

It’s also amazing to see clothes of all types, tastes and prices. I will never forget the muscular construction worker’s tuxedos and the plain-looking office lady’s expensive designer business suits.

My aunt’s laundry shop was closed down a few years ago due to fierce competition in the neighborhood.

Think Of Sleep Number Bed On Valentine’s Day February 20, 2009

Hubby and I were too tired to go to a discount furniture exhibition on February 14.

Well, it’s not because of Valentine on that day. The truth is that we were both too worn out after cleaning the kitchen and the garage.

The only thing I could think of was my sleep number bed, not romantic meal or Valentine gift.

The number of mosquitoes has dropped tremendously after the cleanup.

Too Tired For A Discount Bedroom Furniture Shopping Spree February 14, 2009

Discount Bedroom FurnitureHubby and I are supposed to go to a discount bedroom furniture exhibition this afternoon.

Well, I don’t think we will be going to the exhibition.

I am too worn out now after a few hours’ cleaning for the kitchen and living room. I need a long sleep more than a shopping spree.

If I don’t go, I know hubby will be lazy driving to the town alone.

A Thorough Cleaning To Get Rid Of Mosquitoes February 14, 2009

I am so tired now. Hubby and I did a thorough cleaning for the kitchen and garage for a few hours this morning.

If we didn’t take any action to clean these two places, we would be stung to death by mosquitoes.

We were shocked to find more than a hundred mosquitoes in these two places after we were bitten by a few mosquitoes in the living room.

Broken Screw ExtractorGuess where hubby’s screw extractor tool was? At his buddy there. Argh, no wonder I couldn’t find it a few days ago!

I really hope that hubby can store his Makita tools at one place for easy search. Just like how I store my diet pills and other supplements. They are always in the first drawer of the kitchen cabinet.

Well, men are different from women when it comes to home organization.

Broken Bolt & Damaged Screw Extractor Tool February 5, 2009

It’s funny. When you don’t need any cordless drill or screw extractor tool, you’ll surely see it everywhere. But when you need it, it’s nowhere to be found.

Where is the screw extractor tool? I need it to remove a broken bolt.

I have searched for it everywhere,  from the drawers to the kitchen cabinets to the storage bins to even my MBT shoes!

I guess I just have to let hubby find it for me.
