One of the reasons why we love our double-storey house in Ipoh so much is that it has a very spacious garage storage . According to the previous owner, he is a DIY guy who loves fixing and hammering on weekends as he finds it relaxing and relieving stress.
Though my hubby is not really good at DIY, he loves hanging out there too..;D

He feels bored driving there to do the banking alone. Well, I don’t mind if he promised to come back in the evening. I don’t think I want to stay there one night.

Posted by Home Cleaning Work At Home Mom in : Homes , add a commentMy hubby’s decision to be his buddy’s business partner is in fact a great relief. This is because we will have extra income to pay off our credit card debts. Imagine getting extra $5,000 to $10,000 monthly !
If everything goes on well, that means hubby will go back to our home in Ipoh as it is near the palm oil plantations and rubber estates. Hubby said we may have to put the plan of selling our home on hold. It’s fine with me. After all, I love this house very much.
One of the main reasons that we bought this house 5 years ago was because of the custom designed and hand crafted ceiling beam kitchen. According to the previous owner, he had a soft spot for timber beams, therefore he had his kitchen, dining room and living designed and renovated with unique timber beams.

While waiting, I think I should sort out some old Tennessee football photos required by a buddy. He told me to find for him last month, but I totally forgot about this. This morning he called up again…;D Well, have to find for him. Otherwise, I will not have peaceful mind tonight.

While reading my travel magazine just now, I came across a featured article introducing Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. I was so enthralled by the luxury hotel room that I told my hubby we must a vacation to Las Vegas in future.
My hubby had a peep of this photo and said jokingly,”I think you are attracted by the television more than the beauty of Las Vegas.” Ooopss..;D My hubby knows me well ! I love staying in the hotel watching televising more than going for a tour. Whenever we go back to Kuala Lumpur, i love to stay in the hotel watching movie after movie while my hubby loves going shopping.

I wonder if teenagers are like this now. I find that some of my students have the habit of not replying text messages I send. If they don’t reply, how do I know they have received the messages or not ? Even though I have told them to answer my messages, they still go their way. Arrgghh.. ! Are your teen sons or daughters like this too ?
Relax On Teak Garden Furniture On Sunday Mornings September 30, 2007
Posted by Home Cleaning Work At Home Mom in : Garden Furniture , add a commentIt’s Sunday again. Time to relax on my teak garden furniture while blogging and writing paid posts. I enjoy the tranquility of early Sunday mornings when most people opt to wake up a bit late.
Once in a while, I stop typing my blog posts to listen to the chirping of birds or doing meditation for 15 minutes on one of my teak benches or teak chairs. It is simply relaxing. I tend to get new ideas when I am relaxed ..;D
The thought of hubby being his buddy’s business partner has thrilled me for a few days. The reason is that he may have a lucrative salary ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 monthly. That means we can settle our credit card debts soon.
Being free of debt will definitely give me extra money to enjoy my spa treatments or decorate my house with more teak wood furniture that I always love.

Last month was a forbidden month as it was the ‘Hungry Ghost Festival’ month. It is deemed to be a taboo to hold any happy events such as wedding dinners, birthday parties, house moving parties, business opening ceremonies and new projects.
I was already given a few invitation cards for the occasions of wedding dinners and house-warming parties. My student and her family have recently moved into their newly-built double-storey house.
I have been thinking of giving them a Feng Shui oil painting as house-warming gift. I hopped over to OverStockArt this afternoon to browse through a wide range of Oil Paintings and art reproductions there. There are hundreds of beautiful handmade oil on canvas art reproductions of paintings by artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, Klimt and Dali.
It took me more than 1/2 hour to choose the best oil painting that suits my student’s new home. After much comparison, I picked this Tranquil Horizon oil painting. I feel relaxed when staring at it. According to Feng Shui, water brings wealth. I mean abundant wealth.

Wireless Router Will Be Installed Tomorrow September 29, 2007

Great ! No more sharing the same computer. I write my paid posts while he reads his daily news and updates.
